I can not browse but I can do MSN and Yahoo chat.
Try to check your system for virus and check if the antivirus and windows is up-to-date

The network cable shown unplug on the local area connection.
Try to remove power cable and plug it back for the Wireless Radio and check again

There is connectivity on the local area connection and I can not browse.
Try to repair the network card "Right click on the Local Area Connection". Click on "Repair" and try again.
* NB: only works on Windows XP. If you have another operating system please restart your computer.

How I can check the Proxy Settings?
Right click on internet explorer. Now Click the followings in series:
  • Properties
  • Connections
  • LAN Settings
  • Proxy server
In the Address field, type
    proxy.cobranet.org
and in the Port field, type
    3128

How I can check my IP Settings?
Double click on "Local Area Connection" - then go to "Properties" - then select "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)". Double click on it and the IP settings box will appear.

There is no browsing
Try to check if there is tone on GTE line.

  • There is tone on the line and still there is no browsing
  • Try to see if all the lights on the DSL Modem are on: "SYS - Power -LAN - DSL - PPP".

    • Try to switch off and on the modem and restart your system.

      • The LAN light is OFF
      • Try to check the LAN cable, and if there is a Network Switch, reboot it.
